Our lakefront residence, Birchmere, has served seniors since 1981. We are located in the “Sunshine City” of Orillia on the west shore of Lake Couchiching – just minutes away from the downtown core, and next to Couchiching Beach Park.
We offer a variety of suites, many of which have walkouts to private patios overlooking the lake, as well as two cottages on the waterfront.

A full-time activity coordinator arranges and assists residents with a wide variety of events, from exercises and yoga classes to card games and musical entertainment.
Regular evening and weekend events are also scheduled on our busy monthly calendar.

Manicures, pedicures and hairdressing services can be arranged on a private basis through our front desk.

We are located in the "Sunshine" city of Orillia on the beautiful shores of Lake Couchiching. The Couchiching Park is next door and residents enjoy the beautiful walking trails, boardwalk and Port of Orillia events. The Orillia City Bus service stops in front of our home, making trips to the downtown core only minutes away.
